FBLA Connect is an extremely powerful suite of tools to manage your chapter; it’s much more than a membership system. Many advisers haven’t even scratched the surface with how it can help manage your chapter. Did you know that your chapter president has as much authority to manage the chapter via Connect as the adviser and various levels of permissions can be granted to other officers? At your fingertips, you have recordkeeping tools for essential records such as minutes; budgets; etc; tools to maintain service hours; your own chapter’s calendar; forms; membership management and communication tools; chapter file storage; AND important communication tools.  We’ll spend time making sure you understand why it is important that ALL chapter members activate their FBLA Connect account AND why student personal email addresses should be added to FBLA Connect — unless you can verify that outside email can be received from outside the school system.

Because this suite can make the adviser’s role easier (working in conjunction with the president and other officers), we are offering 7 different dates for face-to-face trainings across the Commonwealth. There is NO COST to attend; lunch will be served. Beverages will be available throughout the day. We do reserve the right to cancel any event for issues that may occur beyond our control.

Each participant MUST bring a fully-charged laptop capable of connecting to the location’s WiFi for this interactive, hands-on event. All registration is done through Blue Panda, which is now open. Registrations are limited to 75 individuals per site — first come, first served.
